Japanese ash is a pale straw colour with a soft, warm tone. Besides the usual ash grain, it often has wavy or mottled areas that shimmer in the light.
It is hard, strong and works well. Figured areas need careful sanding to avoid tearing the fibres.
We use it for tabletops, small tables, decor and accent furniture details.
