European walnut is lighter than black walnut: from grey-brown to warm chocolate, with dark streaks and marbling. Figured and wavy grain is common.
It is medium-hard and workable, cuts, sands and polishes well, and stays stable once dried.
We use it for tables, tabletops, furniture and decor wherever a warm, richly figured surface is wanted.
