Dawn redwood is reddish brown with a straight grain and contrasting growth rings. The sapwood is lighter than the heart.
It is light and soft, easy to work but prone to dents, so we protect tabletops with a durable finish. Moisture resistance is moderate.
It suits decor, wall panels, lightweight tables and cladding.
