Cedar of Lebanon is light brown with a reddish tint, clear growth rings and knots that give slabs a lively look. The wood is fragrant.
It is soft and light and easy to work. Knots need careful sanding and sometimes an epoxy fill. Its natural resin makes it moisture-resistant.
