Slabs in stock: 3

In colour it resembles English oak — light brown with a golden hue — but the figure is usually straighter and finer. Rays are clearly visible on quarter-sawn boards.

The wood is hard and strong, stays stable after drying and works well with sharp tools. It takes oil and stains nicely.

We use it for tables, tabletops, staircases and furniture where a calm, even look matters.
